Good Morning,

Things are going great with Quincy! He has really fit right in. He does everything with his new big brothers--including going outside to potty. He has only pottied on the floor 6 times all week and that was when I just didn't see him soon enough! Initially Fenwick was taking toys away from him but Thursday morning he decided 'enough of that'. He had that little beige and gray fuzzy toy you sent with him and when Fenwick tried to take it out of his mouth, he just hung on! From that point on, they play together constantly--tug of war, hide & seek, etc. Quincy gets under the couch or ottoman and sticks his nose out to tease Feni. They are so funny! Kiowa wants to play too but they just ignore him so he follows them around barking. If I think Feni is getting too wound up, I yell at him to be gentle. When he stops, Quincy jumps right in his face!

When Quincy first saw the cat, he barked at him--not sure what that big thing was! He knows him better now but still barks sometimes when he sees him across the room. He hasn't acted timid at all. Of course, we haven't been out around other people but Sue, our neighbor, comes over. I have also been coming home at noon and took yesterday and next Monday off. I hate leaving him but he seems to be doing fine. I have moved all three crates on one side of the family room so they are all together when they are here alone.

Fenwick seems to think it is the greatest thing to have a new little brother. He hasn't acted jealous at all--some little growls at first but probably just establishing the rules. Now they play and play. Quincy is still a cuddle bug though--more so than Fenwick even was. He loves to sit on laps and snuggle!

Just wanted you to know how perfect he is. Thanks so much for helping us find just the right baby. I'll keep you posted on his progress and send pictures. I love the digital camera--now I can finally get photos when I want. it's so much easier than when Fenwick was little and I had to go get them developed--only to find out the lighting was awful!!

Thanks so much again, Sharron
