Oz is quite the character. I'm amazed at how much his personality has blossomed since arriving at my house. Oz hasn't met a single person he hasn't run right up to and greeted with wagging tail and hopping up and down on their feet. Everyone wants to take him home with them. I am taking him somewhere new everyday so that he will be well socialized to people, animals, and strange places. He loves his sherpa bag and happily goes shopping with me. He spent 90 minutes fabric shopping over the weekend and never made a peep. He is already well on his way with house training. I am training him to touch a bell to let me know he wants to go out. He already sits, does two different downs, and shakes.

I bought Oz as an agility prospect. I don't think he will have any trouble with it. He loves romping in the woods, he already runs a small tunnel I have at home, and he jumps things just for the fun of it.

Oz was particularly wonderful this past weekend when he went traveling with me. He rode in his crate quietly only whining when he needed me to stop. And when I did stop, he did "his business" immediately. He easily adjusted to two different homes where we spent the nights. He didn't cry at all and was able to sleep under different circumstances. In these new homes, he also immediately learned which door was to the outside and would paw on them to go outside. All of this shows me he is a confident, secure, well adjusted little dog -- a true reflection of excellent breeding and initial training done by Niki and Fred.

Niki is absolutely wonderful with her dogs and with prospective owners. I actually feel that we have become friends over the course of waiting for Oz to come to my home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend that anyone wanting a Papillon come to Niki for a great dog.
